For the last few years on Instagram, inspired by @michelleerin, I have been taking a photo each hour of my birthday with the hashtag #birthdayphotanhour. This year, since I haven’t been on Instagram in a while, I decided to do it here on my blog. I’m calling it #birthdayphotoanhoursortof because I don’t have a photo to share for every hour. Instead, I’m sharing these highlights from my birthday this past Tuesday:
8 a.m. Seamus and I snuggle to start the day. 
11 a.m.When Kim and I arrive at my parents, we are greeted by this sign. 
Noon I eat corn bean salad my wife prepared for an appetizer. 
1 p.m. My sister Lisa makes burgers, cooked just right. 
2 p.m. My dad and I sit outside for lunch. 
3 p.m. I have a slice of peanut butter chocolate mousse cake my wife made for my birthday. 
4 p.m. Kim and I take my sister, niece and nephew home… 
…which is about 10 minutes away from my parents. They just moved in in April.
All in all, it was a good day, being especially good to spend time with family for my birthday.
Still an unfinished person... 
Oh! Happy Belated Birthday! Looks like you had a good mix of family, fun and good food. The weather looks nice too.
